We’re pleased to share some exciting news about a new fundraising program for our organization.  It’s called “Scrip”, and it’s the fundraising program that works while you shop. Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers.  They’re the same gift certificates that you buy at the store. 

The beauty of scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money for Angels’ Place without spending a single additional penny.  Just spend your regular shopping dollars with scrip at the stores that participate in the scrip program!  And scrip can be used for just about any household purchase including food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline and even dining out.

Program rules and guidelines

 1)     All certificate orders must be accompanied by credit card, check, money order made payable to Angels’ Place.  Cash will be accepted in the office only, please do not mail cash.  Scrip certificate payments are not tax deductible because you receive dollar for dollar value. 

2)     Scrip certificates are purchased on your behalf, and are not returnable.  

3)     When you pick up your scrip certificates, open your order and verify its accuracy.  In the unlikely event you should find a discrepancy in your scrip order, please contact Virginia Sanders within 7 days.

4)     Scrip certificates are the same as cash, and should be handled accordingly. Angels’ Place cannot be responsible for certificates that are lost, stolen or misplaced while in your possession.

5) Schedule for order placement and pick up. Certificates can be picked up at the Angels’ Place office after pick up date indicated below. They cannot be mailed. If you make arrangements for someone to pick them up for you (home manager, staff, family member) please note that Angels’ Place is not responsible once they leave the office.
