This Angels' Place fundraising event includes a 1 mile family fun walk, a 5k/10k run and 5k walk through picturesque downtown Clarkston. Also, Chip Timing is included for all participants (runners and walkers). Last year this race had over 350 runners and walkers. This event raised over $19,000 for Angels' Place.
A Story of Love Between Sisters
One sister needed a safe, secure, loving environment to live in. The other sister found such a home at Angels’ Place and her sister now has a “family” and enjoys an active lifestyle, including a daily job. Paul and Maggie Maxwell understand what Angels’ Place gave to their loved one and want to help Angels’ Place to continue to make a difference in people’s lives. So they started an “Angels’ Place Race” to help raise money for the organization. For more information on the 5K run, CLICK HERE.
