General Description of Residential Homes & Hope
It is our intention and honor at Angels’ Place to provide a safe home for life to the individuals who have sought and have been entrusted into our care.
Our support is hope-filled, compassionate, empowering and full of life. Therefore, we provide a wide array of services that are dynamic and individualized to the needs and the desires of those precious souls whom we serve.
Some people served by Angels’ Place require total care, all day, every day, and others only require a few hours of support per day or week.
Some people drive, some people take public transportation; while others are driven in an Angels’ Place vehicle to work, recreation, doctors appointments, and visits with friends and family.
Almost every person who resides in an Angels’ Place home are employed in their community and/or are participating in some meaningful type of activity based on the person’s interests and desires.
Angels’ Place owns and operates many of the houses where a resident of Angels’ Place may call home; these homes are made possible through the generosity of many wonderful donors. Some Angels’ Place homes are family owned, thereby providing an opportunity to serve people on the Angels’ Place wait list while easing the burden on the family to manage and operate the home by partnering with Angels’ Place to do so.
An Angels’ Place home may be licensed or unlicensed based on the support needs of the individuals being served.
Angels’ Place also has an Abundant Life Services program that provides community based supports to individuals in their personal home or the home of their parents. Please see Abundant Life Services for more details.
