Aging in Place
When parents choose Angels’ Place as the provider of residential care for their adult child with a developmental disability, it is their intent that Angels’ Place will be there when they are no longer here to assist with their care.
Parents choose Angels’ Place and establish a relationship with us in order to achieve the trust required to leave this earth knowing that they have left their child in an environment where they will be able to experience the many aspects of life, aging and changing health in a safe and a known environment . . . a place they can call home. With friends who become part of an extended family.
As the resident of Angels’ Place age and/or experience medical events that cause them to require a higher level of care, hospice, and/or more accessible housing, it is the surviving hope of the parent that their son or daughter remain with Angels’ Place.
At Angels’ Place we see this as a sacred trust that we are committed to honoring and have incorporated this into our ongoing strategic vision to provide enduring and sustainable care.
